With over 17 years’ experience in FinTech, I have driven the implementation of a wide range of systems across the Investment and Retail banking, providing robust and innovative solutions. From my current position as Product / Development Manager in the RegTech  space, I have been leading the delivery of regulatory reporting platforms that enable the timely, accurate and complete submission of reports to regulators across the globe. Using cutting-edge technologies (Machine Learning, Microservices, big data etc.) and practices (scaled Agile, DevOps etc.) I ensure the bank has a comprehensive and innovative suite of applications to remain compliant with a complex set of rules, which result in the generation of 1027 combinations of data points daily, ultimately enabling it to zero down the risks of regulatory fines and reputational impacts.  I am currently spearheading the development of a Regulatory Reporting as a Service (RRaaS) platform aiming at offering cloud based solutions for any regulatory reporting stream

Igor Sumkovski

As a senior financial crime manager for Santander, Igor is responsible for the implementation and delivery of an effective financial crime risk management strategy and policy framework. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Financial Regulation, International Corporate Governance and Economic Law at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of London and he is ICA qualified financial crime professional with proven BAU and project management experience, gained within some of the largest UK and EU banks.

Igor has a strong anti-financial crime background and comprehensive understanding of the external environment in respect to regulators, industry practice and benchmarking, strong knowledge of the UK/EU financial crime compliance legal and regulatory frameworks. He has genuine interest in AI and Machine Learning, committed to continuously exploring opportunities to use new technologies for greater effectiveness in combating financial crime.

Subas Roy

Subas is a senior Partner in Oliver Wyman with 23 years of strategic consulting experience in Banking and Financial Services inorganic growth, digital innovation and digital transformation. He has led and designed Digital Innovation, Regulatory and Financial Inclusion strategies for multiple central banks and regulators across Western Europe, North America and Asia Pacific regions. 

Subas currently runs a growing management consulting business in Oliver Wyman with 24 revenue generating Partners and another ~120 consultants with YoY global revenue of ~$130MM focusing on (a) digital strategy and acceleration including market infrastructure reorganisation; (b) digitalization of risk and regulatory compliance in banks and regulators; and (c) cost optimization across 3LoDs in tier-1 banks and FIs including corporate finance advisory for buyout and other strategic options.

Prior to Oliver Wyman, Subas was a senior Partner at two Big4 Professional Services (2011-2017 at Ernst & Young, and 2005-2010 at PricewaterhouseCoopers) responsible for developing global strategy advisory practice for Banking transformation fueled by disruption and technological advancement, supported with proper people and process strategies, and how to deliver an accelerated digital change, ethically and responsibly in a growing, emerging economy. In Thailand, he led digital banking transformation for 2 of the top 3 Banks head quartered in Bangkok over a period of 4 years.

Subas is also the Founder and currently non-executive Global Chairman of the International RegTech Association (IRTA), a premier non-profit association representing the RegTech firms, central banks/regulators, and innovators in ~30 countries.

Previously he has held External Advisory Board appointments to the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) on two digital innovation missions in South-east Asia, including creating a digital identify platform in Nepal and helping the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of India to develop a digital identification platform (Aadhar) for 1.3BN Indian citizens.

Subas has also held international Expert Panel chair and member roles at the Harvard University Kennedy School of Business and Government on public policies, the Gates Foundation, and the United Kingdom FinTech Innovation Committee under the rules of the Her Majesty’s Treasury (HMT) division. 

Brendan Leddy

Brendan M. Leddy is the founder and CEO of Barley Harbour Limited, a professional services company focusing on compliance, risk and financial crime, and operating in the financial services sectors of Europe, the Middle East and the United States of America. Before launching the consultancy practice, Mr. Leddy held many senior and executive level positions at Tellimer, Citibank, UBS, ANZ, CLS and Mellon Bank. In this capacity, he was responsible for overseeing compliance and financial crime programs globally and building a culture of consensus with respect to regulatory interpretations. He has led international teams dealing with a broad range of international regulatory obligations.

Mr. Leddy has a BA in English, Sociology and Political Science from the National University of Ireland, Galway, an LLB in Law from the University of Wales and in 2017 he graduated from the University of Liverpool with an LLM in International Business Law. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments, and the Institute of Directors, and a Fellow of the International Compliance Association.

Stacey has over 20 years' regulatory risk, compliance, internal audit and regtech experience within the financial services industry as a regulator, practitioner and Non Executive Director.   Stacey began her regulatory career with the UK regulator undertaking industry wide investigations into mis-selling and as a practitioner led risk management within global insurers and banks.  She joined Thomson Reuters through the acquisition of the regtech Complinet and is on the board of regtech firm, Corlytics. Stacey is a chartered certified accountant with the highest results worldwide and has first class degrees in BSc (Hons) Applied Accounting and BA (Hons) Business Administration.

Dr Drago Indjic

Dr Drago Indjic is an expert data science practitioner and is co-head of Oxquant. He is co-founder of Soft-Finance (Geneva), Technology Partnership (Belgrade) and Richfox Capital (Amsterdam). In addition, Drago has been a technology project funding evaluator for the European Union's ambitious €80bn Horizon 2020 programme since 1997 and will continue in that role with H2020's successor programme. 

Drago has over 25 years’ experience in alternative investments and entrepreneurship and has worked as a portfolio manager and in research at several hedge funds, a family office and for a GCC sovereign wealth fund. He is an investor in a number of fintech businesses. 

Drago lectures regularly on fintech and hedge funds at Queen Mary University of London and Regent's University. He holds a Dipl Ing from the University of Belgrade and a PhD from Imperial College, London; and is a Member of the IEEE and IET.
