About the course
This course offers an in-depth exploration of the RCSA process, from designing and conducting assessments to reporting results and planning follow-up actions. Emphasising the integration of RCSAs within the broader risk management framework, key concepts such as risk taxonomy, governance and appetite are explored.
The curriculum examines RCSA methodology, highlighting the use of heatmaps for assessing risk likelihood and causal analysis to understand the control environment.
Participants will have the opportunity to bridge theory with practice in a mock RCSA workshop. They will practice visualising risks using bow-tie tools and consider control categories and key risk indicators.
Attendees will leave the course with the skills to implement a robust RCSA process that aligns with business goals and offers a holistic view of organisational risks.
